Steripower, based in Starnberg, is the manufacturer of the first touchless hand sanitizer dispenser with a documentation feature. Across Europe, more than 20,000 Steripower units are now helping to significantly improve hygiene standards in settings where people work closely with one another or handle food.
Its success is primarily due to the fact that the Steripower makes hand hygiene easier and faster, while delivering significantly better results compared to conventional lever-operated dispensers. Despite the seriousness of the topic of hand hygiene, one can even speak of a sort of fun factor when using the Steripower. The number of hand hygiene procedures has been shown to increase by up to five times (!). The person responsible for hygiene can rest easy when the Steripower is equipped, for a small additional cost, with a signal-sending circuit board, so that, for example, electric door closers, turnstiles, or automatic doors only function once hands have been disinfected in the Steripower.
Sales for this and all other products will be handled by regional partners in the commercial kitchen equipment sector, most of whom are already well-known in the industry. At Internorga in Hamburg (Hall A3, Booth 511) and Altenpflege in Nuremberg (Hall 5, Booth 5–409), Steripower will present a valuable addition to hand hygiene with the Steripower and a new product featuring an extremely short payback period (as little as 12 months!)
